ReplyDeleteI'm in love with all things Henry: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24752957
ReplyDeleteMy worst birthday present was when I was 15 and my granny gave me a pair of three legged tan coloured tights (pantyhose). The packaging said something about "roll up a laddered leg and roll down a spare, you dont have to worry again if you get a ladder".... just plain weird....
ReplyDeleteFollowing happily along!
ReplyDeleteI love those bear brooches! But my favorite things in your shop are the curiosity necklaces.

My best birthday present was a guitar when I was 16 from my Mennonite non-music listening parents, who FINALLY showed a sign that they understood me and my ways. I haven't put it down since and they come to every gig I have in town.
ReplyDeleteGreta with balloons makes my day.

(My birthday is at end of the month -- are you a Gemini too? Happy birthday!)
Happy Birthday, and what a great giveaway! I would be thrilled to win one of your works!
ReplyDeleteWell, I am already a follower of your blog, but I will say what my worst B-day gift was... a cheap-o, ugly, black, cordless wall phone which my well meaning and practical (and cheap) Hubby gave me for my 40th birthday. Our old phone was on the fritz, and he thought that giving me this piece of junk was a good idea. It wasn't.
(But I forgave him :0)
Love your work, would LOVE a brooch! Your work is very inspirational! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHello from a fellow "poppytalker"! Discovered your blog through Poppytalk and instantly became a follower- love your work! Also planning to post on my blog as soon as I leave here...Thanks for hosting such a generous giveaway!

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!
I followed!!
ReplyDeleteI love curiosities necklace the most.. and I can't seem to find something that I hate...
ReplyDeleteMy worst birthday gift would be... umm nothing, I'm easy to pleased, but I remember an ugly wooden box that a friend gave me, looks like she unintendedly picked it up from the dumpster for me, but I use it till now, nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteMy best ever, is a handmade doll that represent me :)
I don't care to be in a giveaway, I just wanted to say how cute all of those are.
ReplyDeletePussDaddy
Love, love, love your shop! Can't believe I'd not seen it before. My favorite item of yours is "A day at the Beach"...though I like very many other things too!
ReplyDeleteIf I were to win, I would choose the pillow...I used to make embroidered character pillows myself a long time ago,and have a soft spot in my heart for them. Greta is just so cute!
I'll share my 2 best birthday gifts, because they were basically the same thing. When I was 12 I got my very own real sewing machine! Oh, I was so excited and proceeded to spend almost every day since then either making something or thinking about what to make next. Then...when I was 43 I got a beautiful new Swiss Elna sewing machine! Sigh, happy days.
I've also signed up to be a blog follower...so I can keep an eye on what wonderful new things you have going on!
Smiles, Karen

Your store rocks!
The best birthday gift I've ever received was on my 19th birthday. My boyfriend and I had only been together for about a month, but he got me the most adorable Hello Kitty lunchbox (I collect lunchboxes). It showed that he paid attention to my interests and my personality. He's also given me numerous thoughtful gifts on the following birthdays for the past 6 years, but that one will always hold a special place to me. I still use it almost daily, I store my polymer clay inside it. ♥
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented!!! Like you, my grand-mother is and will always be my inspiration... She was the most beautiful and gifted women, a true gift to me... I love your art, it is divine... I will put a link to your bog on my blog... My favorite piece is the -piggyback at the Beach-, it touches me deeply as I have two daugthers, the oldest piggy back the youngest at the beach here in Australia all the time... Beautiful work!!!
