I finished these dolls up yesterday. I had originally planned on sewing dresses for them all until I came across some scraps of beautiful Victorian and crocheted lace and changed my mind. I will probably do things a bit differently on the next go-round but overall I am pretty satisfied with my first attempt at working in clay. It was a nice change of pace.

ReplyDeleteI've been dying to work with some of my painted figures and characters in clay. I doubt I could do anything so impressive with my first attempt with clay, but you give me hope to try it.
OH Cindy, these are wonderful. I bet it was so much fun to play in clay. The pieces of lace is perfect....not too much and not too little.....
ReplyDeleteCindy - these are exquisite - well done. They are quirky and sweet, but even more beautiful and heart-touching and whimsical in the 'from behind' photo. Such attention to detail is the mark of a true artist.
